Verifying the Installation

1.1. How to Verify if the Installation is Successful 

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services in Microsoft Windows.
   
   
   
2. Find the service named 12d Synergy Server.
3. If the Status column against 12d Synergy Server service says Running, then the installation is successful.

1.1.1. What to do if the 12d Synergy Server Service is not Running?

1. In the Services window, double-click the 12d Synergy Server service.
2. Select the Log on tab.
   
   
   
3. Re-enter the password for the Service Account and click OK.

   If this is not a service account, it will now be given the Service Account attribute by Windows.

4. Right-click 12d Synergy Server service and select the Start option.
   The service will start and the Status of the service is changed to Running.
   
   If the service has still not started, please check the Windows Event Viewer for more details.
