Watch Folders

Watch folders allow you to watch for new files added to a network location that the 12d Synergy server can see. Once a new file is added, 12d Synergy can automatically upload this file. This can be useful for network attached scanners.

Watch Folders can be set up in the File Storage area of the 12d Synergy Administrator.

Simply click the plus button and define your watch folder, including the path to monitor and the types of extensions to look for, how to behave when duplicate files are found, and where to put the data.

You must also define a default description to use when adding the files, and any attributes that you want set.

Note that if you are using one or more File Servers, you must specify the file server this is relevant for.
