1.1. Upgrading your 12d Synergy Server Application
This document covers the process for a minor upgrade (e.g., from 4.3.1 to 4.3.2) rather than a major product upgrade (e.g., from v4 to v5).

Upgrading your 12d Synergy Server application is easy.
To know the minor upgrade versions available within a major version, please refer to the Looking for a different version? section > Select a version to download list in the 12d Synergy Downloads page.

1.1.1. How to Perform a Minor Server Upgrade
Shut down the 12d Synergy Server Service.
Take a backup of the full system.
Uninstall the 12d Synergy Server application.
Performing this step will not remove your data.
Run the new Upgrade installer.
