V15 Master Shares after a Project Copy

Added: 1:30 pm 27/03/2024 Resolved

We have identified that an copying a v15 12d model project may lead to an invalid internal state that causes 12d Model to incorrectly download projects included in master shares.

This has been fixed in 5.1.6.254 and is available from: https://files.12dsynergy.com/downloads

This is a server side change that will resolve the issue for all future copies but will also fix the invalid state for any old projects affected by this issue.

Duplicate 12d Model Project Folders After Drag and Drop

Latest update: 12:45 pm 20/03/2024 Resolved

This has now been resolved in 5.1.6.251 and is available from: https://files.12dsynergy.com/downloads

Added: 8:30 am 19/03/2024

We have identified that an issue may occur when dragging and dropping a 12d model project to the Job Level that, on subsequent check ins, may lead to the creation of duplicate 12d Model project folders. The fix for this is currently in test and we anticipate a 5.1.6 release for this in the coming day.

In the meantime, we recommend you drag and drop these 12d model projects at a folder level rather than the job level until the release is available.

Latest update: 8:20 am 19/03/2024 Resolved

This has now been resolved by 12d Solutions and the fix will be include 12d Model V15 C1P.

Added: 9:40 am 8/12/2023

We are aware that taking 12d Model V15 projects offline that include shared tins may result in these shared tins not showing up when working with the offline project.
12d Solutions is aware of the issue and we will be working with them to resolve the issue in a future 12d Model V15 release.

12d Model V15 Upgrader

Latest update: 9:40 am  8/12/2023  Resolved

This has been resolved in V5.1.6.227 and is available from: https://files.12dsynergy.com/downloads

This is a client side only change.

Added:  10:35 am 22/11/2023

We have identified that during the 12d Model V15 upgrade process, data in the working folder is not copied to the newly created V15 project.

This is currently being fixed and we anticipate that a fix will be available within the next two days.

In the short term, as the original V14 project is preserved, you can copy the missing files manually from the V14 project into the newly created V15 project.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Client Data Cleaner

Latest Update: 10:30 am 22/11/2023 Resolved

The fix for this problem has been implemented. Due to the complex nature of this fix, this will currently only be included in 5.1.7 and later.

For 5.1.5 and 5.1.6, managed folders and 12d model project cleaning will continue to be disabled.

Update: 8:25 am 10/11/2023

We are aware of a problem with the Client Side Data Cleaner in V5 that may mark files from checked out 12d Model Projects as deleted.

We have identified the cause of this issue and are scheduling work to correct the behaviour. We have also determined the error in our testing that allowed this to go undetected and have implemented additional safeguards.

Until the complete fix is released, we have released a hot fix for 5.1.5 and 5.1.6 to disable the cleaning of 12d Model Projects and Managed Folders, and we recommend you take one of the following actions:

  1. Turn off the 12d Model and Managed Folder cleaning feature and force a restart of the server.
A restart is critical as it will force clients to download the new policy and disable this feature.
  2. Upgrade your server to one of our emergency hot fix versions that disables this functionality, either
    1. 5.1.6.210
    2. 5.1.5.218
  3. Upgrade all your clients to one of our emergency hot fix versions that disables this functionality, either
    1. 5.1.6.210
    2. 5.1.5.218

We strongly recommend you attempt to use (1) or (2) - but (3) can be used if you do not have Administrative access or ability to upgrade your server.

If you have any concerns, please reach out to us at support@12dsynergy.com.
