How to Create a Workflow

Workflows are designed as List type attributes residing on the entities that are the subject of a process. This means that you can run a workflow on many entities in 12d Synergy, such as:

• Jobs

• Folders

• Files

• 12d Model Projects

• Tasks

• Issues

Let us take an example of a file-based workflow and see the steps involved in creating it.

1. Define a file attribute of list type.

2. Build the workflow or draw the workflow chart with states and transitions.

3. Define the Transitions.
