What happens to a Feature Request?

We’re continuously improving and updating 12d Synergy to help you and all our customers get the most out of the software. Thank you to our user community for all your great ideas and feedback. Our ultimate goal is to understand what you need and to develop solutions that meet those needs. Your feedback helps us to continue achieving this.

We receive a large number of feature requests each day from our many passionate users. When making decisions about what to prioritize and work on, we combine your feedback and suggestions with insights from our sales & support teams, research findings, and more.

While we incredibly appreciate your ideas and feedback, we, unfortunately, cannot implement them all right away. Sometimes they cannot be done at all, but we aim to ensure they are catalogued for the future.

At regular points throughout the year, our product team selects feature requests from the pool based on a number of criteria, including:

  • Is it a common request?
  • Does it fit with the general vision for the product?
  • Is it in line with our technology platforms?

Once they’re selected, they will be tentatively scheduled for a future version, although this can often shift based on the broader needs of our customers.

However, because we receive so many feature requests, not all of them can be selected.

That means we cannot promise you that your requested feature will be selected, or that you'll receive feedback until after it is completed. Sometimes features will be developed to solve the need behind your request and will differ as described to ensure it meets that need for as many users as possible.

Thank you to the 12d Synergy user community for all your great ideas and feedback. We greatly appreciate and value your support.
