Verifying the Installation (FRS)

To verify that the installation has worked:

  1. Go to Start→Control Panel→Administrative Tools→Services in Microsoft Windows.
  2. Find the service named 12d Synergy File Replication Server
  3. Ensure it is started

12d Synergy Server Installation

If it has not started, try the following steps:

  1. Double click the service
  2. Choose the log on tab
  3. Re-enter the password for the Service Account and click OK
  4. If this was not a service account, it will now be given the Service Account attribute by Windows
  5. Right click and ‘Start’ the service
