To verify that the installation has worked:
- Go to Start → Control Panel→ Administrative Tools→ Services in Microsoft Windows.
- Find the service named 12d Synergy Server
- Ensure it is started
If it has not started, try the following steps:
- Double click the service
- Choose the log on tab
- Re-enter the password for the Service Account and click OK
- If this was not a service account, it will now be given the Service Account attribute by Windows
- Right click and ‘Start’ the service
