1.1. Verifying the Installation (FRS)

To verify that the installation has worked, do the following:

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services in Microsoft Windows.
2. Find the service named 12d Synergy File Replication Server.
3. If the Status column against 12d Synergy File Replication Server service says Running, then the installation is successful.

1.1.1. What to do if the 12d Synergy File Replication Server Service is not Running?

1. In the Services window, double-click the 12d Synergy File Replication Server service.
2. Select the Log on tab.
3. Re-enter the password for the Service Account and click OK.
   

   If this was not a service account, it will now be given the Service Account attribute by Windows.

4. Right-click 12d Synergy File Replication Server service and select the Start option.
   The service will start and the Status of the service is changed to Running.
   
   If the service has still not started, please check the Windows Event Viewer for more details.
