# Task Types

Every task must have a type – 12d Synergy comes with one task type, the generic task.

Tasks Types allow you to categorise and define special information about tasks that might be used for different purposes. They allow you to define, for any new task, the following information:

- States and state transitions
- Attributes
- Actions
- Reminders
- Task Templates

## **Create New Task Type**

- In 12d Synergy Administrator
- Side menu System Rules => Tasks
