# General Notes

Workflows can be as simple or as complex as you need them to be. General recommendations are:

1. Test workflows in a sample job first before making them system or template wide
2. Build them iteratively
3. Build transitions between all states until you know your workflow well to allow you to easily transition
4. Turn on Workflow Debug logging, via the Window Menu in the main client
5. Use two clients - one to edit the workflow, and another to test it
