# Customising Search

## **Overview**

Searching can be customized to provide a quick, better experience for users. As an administrator, you can define the common search fields for most search types and how the results appear to the user. This is available under the Searching section of the 12d Synergy Administrator.

## **Job Searches**

You can control the list of common attributes that will be displayed when searching, and what fields are displayed in the results.

## **File Searches**

You can control the list of attributes that are used for File Searches.

## **System Searches**

You can control the list of file, job and folder attributes that will appear for System wide searches.
