# Deleted Files

## **1.1 Deleting**

Files are not permanently removed from 12d Synergy unless allowed by a System Administrator. In most cases, they are ‘marked’ as deleted, which renders them invisible until you restore the file or choose to view deleted files. This ensures information can never be accidentally lost.

To view the deleted files,**View=>Show Deleted Items**

## **1.2 Restoring**

If the file was deleted by mistake it can be restored.

**View=>Show Deleted Items**
