Scheduled Maintenance Windows

  • PDF

Article summary

It is important to regularly maintain any system you use to ensure it is running in its optimal state. In the case of a managed solution, you would expect this to always be the case. Why else would you seek external management of a system or service?

As a cloud customer of 12d Synergy, we take the burden of managing application infrastructure, SQL infrastructure and Windows Servers away from you, so you can focus on more important things within your business.

To ensure this is achieved, when we perform our maintenance tasks, an outage is required which will temporarily impact your ability to use our product.

These tasks are mainly centred around the following:

  • Ensuring Windows Updates are applied to the servers

    • NB: Critical Security Hot Fixes as identified by Microsoft may fall outside of this scope

  • 12d Synergy Server application upgrade (if applicable)

We have designated that the first standard weekend at the beginning of each quarter to be our window to perform the necessary tasks beginning from 8am to 5pm. See below for the 2025 scheduled dates.

Scheduled Maintenance Dates for 2025

During this period, your instance of 12d Synergy will become unavailable for a short amount of time as we perform the required maintenance. Once completed, you will receive a notification from us that your instance is available.

It is currently estimated the total down time will be approximately 1 to 2 hours during this window.

We will provide a reminder notification about the scheduled maintenance as follows:

  • 1 month prior to the first Sunday of the Quarter

  • 1 week prior to the first Sunday of the Quarter

  • The last Friday preceding the first Sunday of the Quarter

If for any reason that the scheduled maintenance will impact critical business deliverables, please contact us at support@12dsynergy.com. We can reschedule the proposed date, if necessary.
