The background checker can be useful for diagnosing whether an email has been successfully/unsuccessfully uploaded into 12d Synergy.
| Steps to turn on/off background checker | |

Click the Windows Start button |

Type Environment Variables, and select Edit the Environment Variables for your Account |

In the "User Variables" section, check if you already have a variable named "12dSynergyOutlookBGChecker" If Yes, select it and click "Edit"→ Change the value 0, then go to step 'Restart Outlook' |

If No, chick "New" |
|
Enter the following values: Variable name: 12dSynergyOutlookBGChecker |
|
Click OK until all windows are closed | |
Restart Outlook (Closing then re-opening Outlook) | |
Try and reproduce the problem | |
Send us the log (located in the c:\temp) |
BG Checker works in conjunction with the Outlook log. Ensure Outlook logging is enabled.
