Article summary

Teams is where you can define all the stakeholders in a job and define their roles. This highlights which staff have a role for a particular Job – basically, a role address book. It is often best to assign items like tasks to a team role instead of a person. Therefore, if this person leaves a Job and is replaced by somebody else it can be updated in one location.

  • Go to Task List
  • Select task "Review Report"
  • 12d Synergy ribbon => Edit
  • Update the assigned user

  • Return to Team in the job tree.

To change the Contact assigned to a Role

The task won't be affected; however it will now be assigned to you as viewed in "My Active Items".
