12d Synergy Client Requirements

1.1 Software Requirements

1.1.1. Operating System

The 12d Synergy Client requires Windows 7 or later.

1.1.2. Required Components

.NET 4.5 or later must be installed for the standards installation.

AutoCAD 2019 requires .NET 4.7

1.1.3. Optional Components

the Following components are options:

• Microsoft Office 2010 or Later
• 12d Model 11
• 12d Model 12
• AutoCAD 2014 or later
• BricsCAD Pro V14 or later

1.2. Microsoft Office

If you wish to use the Microsoft office plugins, please note that 12d Synergy is not compatible with the Windows / Microsoft store versions of these products. You must use the desktop or Click to Run version. You can check which version of Office is installed by selecting File -> Office Account in a Microsoft Office product.

Note:

• To drag and drop to Microsoft Office from 12d Synergy, you must be using 32 bit Outlook. 64 bit Outlook is not currently supported for drag and drop operations.

• The 12d Synergy Outlook Plugin may not work as expected when used with Outlook cache mode. When cached mode in Outlook is enabled, emails will not be correctly synced between the Outlook Client and the MS Exchange Server. This will result in synchronization issue messages being generated within the Outlook Client.
