# Conditions

Conditions help you decide the flow of transition. The table below displays all the conditions that you can define for a transition.

| Category | Condition | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **General** | **Compare property** | The transition happens only when the comparison between two properties results in TRUE. |
| **Compare String Property** | The transition happens only when the comparison between two properties of String data type results in TRUE. |
| **Is member of** | The transition happens only when the contact is a member of a mentioned group or is designated a mentioned role. |
| **Task** | The transition happens only if the task is in the mentioned state. |
