# The 12d Synergy Web and Mobile Applications

The 12d Synergy Web and Mobile Apps are a stripped-down version of the 12d Synergy Client application that runs on an internet browser as a Web App and as a Mobile App on both Android and iOS devices. The 12d Synergy Mobile App is a small-sized version of the 12d Synergy Web App.

These apps are not intended to be used as standalone applications. They can be used on a secondary device for quick access to frequently used actions on entities, such as checking in, checking out, assigning tasks, transmitting files, uploading and downloading images, etc.

- Your computer MUST be connected to the internet to use the 12d Synergy Web App effectively.
- Your mobile device MUST be connected to the internet to use the 12d Synergy Mobile App.
- Before logging into the Web and Mobile App, ensure that the necessary [configurations to access the Web](https://help.12dsynergy.com/docs/v5settingupwebaccess) and Web App are in place.
